- Examination Pattern
The Entrance Examination will consist of General Ability Test + Studio Test / Group Discussions + Personal Interview. It is mandatory for all the candidates to give all three tests.

· MKSSS’s SOFT Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility for Under Graduate Degree Program – B. Design In Affiliation with S.N.D.T Women’s University, Mumbai – 4 years
- XIIth Pass in any Stream – Arts/Commerce/Science/Home Science/ Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC) including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with minimum 50%
- Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE)/ State Govt. Technical Education full time diploma of minimum 3 years after Std. X
- For NRI & Foreign students with equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
- SOFT CET – General Ability Test + Studio Test + Personal Interview with Statement of Purpose and Portfolio
- Eligibility for Post Graduate Degree Program – M. Design (Inter- Disciplinary) In Affiliation with S.N.D.T Women’s University, Mumbai – 2 years
- A student must obtain at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Design (4 years) Degree Course from any UGC recognized University or equivalent specialized in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Jewellery Design, Graphic Design etc.
- Sc/B.A/BFA Degree Course from any UGC recognized University or equivalent specialized in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Textile Design, Jewellery Design, Graphic Design etc.
- Design from NIFT/NID or equivalent.
- NOTE: The students who have completed 3 years UG Degree Program will have to do a bridge course of 8 credits in their first year ( 4 credits each Sem I and Sem II)
Eligibility for Autonomous Post Graduate Diploma Program – Fashion Design & Merchandising – 2 years
- A graduate with good academic record, creative mind, and practical understanding can apply for the course
- Qualification – Graduate in any stream (10+2+3 or equivalent)
- SOFT CET – General Ability Test + Studio Test +Personal Interview with Statement of Purpose and Portfolio
