Additionally, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in their qualifying examination. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and OBC categories, there is a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying exam marks. It is also important to note that the JEE B.ARCH exam requires candidates to have completed or be appearing for their 10+2 education in the same academic year as the exam. Only Indian nationals, as well as foreign nationals seeking admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs, are eligible to appear for the JEE B.ARCH exam. Candidates should also note that the JEE B.ARCH exam has separate eligibility criteria for admission to architecture courses in other government-funded technical institutes, such as the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA).
