Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Design (DPUSOD), Pune is a flagship institute of Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be-University), established in 1996. DPUSOD offers B.Des and M.Des programs designed to provide maximum exposure through a choice-based credit system, interdisciplinary learning, and continuous evaluation. Specializations include Product Design, Communication Design, UIUX Design also termed as Interaction Design, Interior Spatial and Furniture Design, Fashion Design and Communication, and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Animation & VFX and Interior Design.

DPU All India Design Aptitude Test (DPU AIDAT)

DPU All India Design Aptitude Test is designed in a multiple-choice question format with a set time limit to understand the design acumen and accuracy and the time management of the prospect candidature.

The test is designed and developed by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pimpri, Pune for its constituent unit DPU School of Design, Tathawade campus. It is important that applicants take the test which helps us further to onboard the best potential for the design programs. DPU All India Design Aptitude Test is an Online Proctored Test that allows candidates to appear at their convenient location. Candidates are not expected to go to a centre and neither it is paper based.

B.Des Program	150 seats	Candidates must be 10 + 2 from any discipline and from a recognized university or board with a minimum of 45% for Open and minimum of 40% for others. Freshers may also apply.
B.Sc. Hons. Program	120 seats
M.Des Communication Design	15 seats	Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields with a minimum of 45% marks for Open category and 40% marks for other categories. Freshers may also apply.
M.Des UI UX Design	15 seats	Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, Communication Design, BCA (Computer Application), BSc Computer Science, BSc in Interior & Animation with minimum 50% may apply.
